Ruth has over 15 years experience as a producer and director, working across both stills and video. She has traveled the world creating content for her clients and has experience in automotive and is currently working on how Virtual Production will transform the advertising industry.

Ruth is a UK-based Producer and Director at the forefront of virtual production innovation in advertising. She began her career in 2008 in corporate content and started directing in 2012, interviewing high-profile individuals around the world. After working across multiple genres, she discovered a passion for automotive production in 2019 and quickly found joy in the challenges and creativity of shooting cars.

Ruth has since expanded her expertise to lead virtual production campaigns for major clients including bp, Castrol, Boots, and Ford, with shoots across the UK and Spain. She works closely with the Unreal Engine team to create complex virtual environments such as retail spaces and forecourts, blending real-world and digital production seamlessly.

Ruth plays a key strategic role in identifying projects suitable for virtual production and AI integration across the WPP network. She is also an advocate for team education and industry transformation. Her commitment to innovation is evident in her leadership on the design and upcoming launch of a state-of-the-art studio set to open in 2026.
